After seven years of service, Nintendo has decided to shut down Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete – a paid offline version – taking its place. Players can pre-register on iOS and Android for $12.99 CAD until January 31st, 2025 at which point the price permanently increases to $24.99 CAD afterwards. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete arrives December 3rd, 2024 with new items appearing until September 2025 before development ceases production entirely.
Online Service End Date

Players can transfer save data from Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp by linking their Nintendo Account before service is shut down – transfer is finalized after launching Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete for the first time. Leaf Tickets will not appear in the new version and Pocket Camp Club has been subsequently discontinued. Online communication between friends will not be possible but Nintendo is implementing a replacement feature – Camper Cards – which allows players to share their character with friends via QR codes; visit Whistle Pass to receive in-game items from registered friends.

Nintendo is bidding farewell to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp with The Last Event featuring in-game gifts and a special memory for those that continue playing the game through the final day.
