Dominate the Rocket Racing competition whilst steering the Dominus GT – a vehicle body originally released back in 2016 for Rocket League through the Champions 1 Series blueprint. Epic Games recently made the vehicle playable in Fortnite courtesy of cross-game ownership which allows players to use cosmetics obtained in one game with the other; no additional cost if already purchased. Rocket League features over 100+ different vehicles along with thousands of accessories – not everything will make the jump to Fortnite but wheels, decals, and trails will carry over. Players can burn rubber during heated matches by simply jumping into a Whiplash – transforms into their customized automobiles.
Players can purchase the Dominus GT Bundle for 1,500 V-Bucks which features the Dominus GT Car Body alongside six Decals – reserved for use with the respected Car Body including:
- Flames Decal | Stripes Decal | Sunburst Decal | Techno Decal | Wings Decal
- Protractor Decal | 40+ Customization Colours
Epic Games has also rolled out NEW vehicle cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Shop including:
- Blender Wheel (600 V-Bucks) | Santa Fe Wheel (700 V-Bucks) | Ion Boost (200 V-Bucks)
Rocket Racing will continue to evolve and recently added Speed Run mode to the slate which gives players the opportunity to climb the leaderboards and compete for the fastest lap time against friends and those from all over the world. Ghosts – not the spooky kind – appear to help players correct mistakes with visual representations of previous attempts and player collision is turned off since this is strictly for the betterment of improving individual skills. Cosmetics offer no competitive edge.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Amazon Luna, and Android devices with iOS compatibility available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
