Epic Games is preparing to take players on a musical journey into magical new realities with the Fortnite Rift Tour which is taking place on August 6th, 2021 at 6PM EST through August 8th, 2021 at 6PM EST. It has been confirmed that the special event will feature a record-breaking superstar whom has yet to be announced, however, additional news and information regarding the identity of the performer is scheduled for August 2nd, 2021 across the official Fortnite social media channels.
Players can celebrate the upcoming musical experience with the first wave of in-game quests which can be completed anytime between July 29th, 2021 through August 8th, 2021 that will unlock the first batch of rewards including the Rift-sterpiece Spray, Cloudy Kitty Emoticon, and Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen which features artwork by Delicious Design League.
The first wave of Rift Tour quests include:
- Save the Date in the Rift Tour tab and play a match (Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen)
- Interact with the Rift Tour posters (Rift-sterpiece Spray)
- Use an Alien Hologram Pad on top of the Party UFO (Cloudy Kitty Emoticon)
The recent Fortnite update included the addition of a NEW tab within the game menu which allows players to schedule the showtimes that they plan on attending with their friends as well as to keep up to date on all of the current Rift Tour quests. Epic Games has stated that these are not RSVP actions and recommends that those whom plan on attending should arrive 60 minutes prior to their chosen time slot with the playlist expected to go LIVE 30 minutes prior to each show.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
