Untamed and unstoppable – Red Claw was the latest Fortnite Crew offering for October with razer sharp cosmetics for subscribers to sink their teeth into and a crimson red colour palette to stand out amongst the shadows. Epic Games made the announcement on September 27th, 2022 with members gaining access to their items officially on September 30th, 2022 which replaced Loveless and her crisp playing card aesthetic. Membership has its privileges and avid Fortnite players have been treated to a multitude of exclusive benefits which included a special Legacy Set reward that grew with consecutive subscription months; additional incentives will undoubtedly manifest again in the future.
October subscribers received the Red Claw Outfit with Mask Off Style option, Black Fang Back Bling, Red’s Rippers Pickaxe, Shredded Red Wrap, Never Take Me Alive Loading Screen, Dark Nights/Red Lights Lobby Track, and Dark & Red Instrumental (Instrumental) Lobby Track. Those aforementioned Lobby Tracks were delayed due to an unknown complication but Epic Games subsequently delivered them to eligible players the following week. Cosmetics contained within the Crew Packs are exclusive to members and – as a result – will never appear in the Item Shop for the general community to purchase for themselves. Players that missed out on previous offerings could potentially see them return which has yet to occur however Epic Games has confirmed this scenario to be a very real possibility.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
