First introduced in Chapter 3 – Season 1 for a limited time, Epic Games continued the seasonal tradition of granting players an additional opportunity to level up their Battle Pass and unlock any outstanding rewards before disappearing at the end of the respected season. Each exclusive bundle typically arrives in the Fortnite Item Shop during the final four weeks of gameplay with players able to spend a modest amount of V-Bucks rather than real world money in order to procure it. Previous Level Up Quest Packs have included Monarch and Omega Knight which – as of writing – are extremally rare commodities that only become available once before vanishing soon after; none have returned and Epic Games has not inherently clarified as to whether or not bundles would come back in the future.
The Phantasm Level Up Quest Pack landed in the Item Shop on August 18th, 2022 for 1,200 V-Bucks which came packaged with the Phantasm Outfit and Hat Off Style alongside the Spectral Vision Wrap, The Beyond Portal Back Bling, and The All-Seeing Scythe Pickaxe. Subsequently, the Back Bling and Pickaxe could be customized with the Ruby Revenant Style and the Phantasm Outfit received a remixed Helmeted Style that was reminiscent of the Kondor Outfit from Chapter 2 – believed to be a snapshot or different version of the same character. Players then had to locate 28 Level Tokens that were hidden around the island to access each reward which were divided and spread out across four weeks; seven were needed for each tier – automatically increased player level by one after collecting them.
Players looking for some extra Battle Pass gains for the Chapter 3 – Season 4 storyline and unlock Gwen Stacy are going to have to wait a few months for that particular opportunity as it is scheduled to conclude on December 3rd, 2022 prior to the holiday season. As previously mentioned, it is uncertain as to whether or not Level Up Quest Packs will return in some shape or form as Epic Games previously made other bundles extremely rare including Starter Packs which traditionally debut within the first month of a season; budget friendly with V-Bucks and cosmetics being awarded.
