Epic Games has announced the contents of the Fortnite Crew Pack for January and subscribers have the opportunity to unlock Snow Stealth Slone with a variety of winter ready gear which will help her to survive even the frostiest of stealth missions. The latest offerings became available to subscribers on December 31st, 2021 at 7PM EST and was officially unveiled to the public on December 28th, 2021 across social media ahead of the New Year’s celebrations. The Fortnite Crew is a subscription service whereby members are granted access to exclusive Outfits, Back Bling, Wraps, and more for a monthly fee with 1,000 V-Bucks delivered at the beginning of each subsequent month as well.
Players will receive the Snow Stealth Slone Outfit which comes equipped with a Winter Sunset Style variant alongside the Snow Stealth Hardcase Back Bling and Sleet Spike Pickaxe that also benefits from the Winter Sunset Style option. Active Fortnite Crew subscribers will additionally unlock an extra reward – Golden Look Board Glider – as part of the Winterfest celebrations; must be active before January 6th, 2022 at 9AM EST in order to qualify for the limited edition cosmetic. The snow that is currently covering the Island will begin melting in the coming weeks and the IO (Imagined Order) are preparing to launch their counter-attack against The Seven as the Chapter 3 storyline unfolds.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation. Epic Games has previously released extra incentives to entice players to maintain their subscriptions in the form of Back Bling which evolves with additional months of dedicated service; likely that similar rewards and perks will become available in the future.
