Something is hiding in the trees and stalking anyone that dares to venture through its territory; difficult to see and quite a formidable opponent in hand-to-hand combat. Those whom become the hunter and are lucky enough to survive the terrifying encounter will be greatly rewarded and those whom become the hunted will meet an unfortunate fate – Predator has arrived on the island and the hunt has begun.
Chapter 2 – Season 5 of Fortnite has been focused on hunters, bounties, and ensuring that nobody escapes the loop with characters from The Mandalorian, God of War, Halo, and The Walking Dead jumping into the popular Battle Royale game and assisting Agent Jones in his mission to protect the Zero Point. The latest hunter to join the fray – Predator – has officially been announced as Season 5’s Mystery skin and players will have a new set of tasks to complete in order to take full advantage of the legendary Yautja hunter.
In order to unlock the mystery skin, players will first need to purchase the Battle Pass – 950 V-Bucks – and complete nine (9) Jungle Hunter Quest challenges. These can be completed in any order, however some will require the Predator skin to be unlocked and equipped in order to complete.
Jungle Hunter Quests
- Find “The Mysterious Pod” – unlocks the Jungle Hunter Banner Icon
- Talk with Beef Boss, Remedy, and Dummy – unlocks the Plasma Caster Reticle Emoticon
- Collect Medkits (x3) – unlocks the Heat Vision Hunter Spray
- Collect Legendary Weapons or rarer (x1) – unlocks The Hunt Loading Screen
- Defeat Predator – unlocks the Predator Legendary Outfit
- Complete a Bounty as Predator – unlocks the Hunter’s Trophy Legendary Back Bling
- Visit Predator’s Apartment in Hunter’s Haven as Predator – unlocks the Bio-Helmet Online Legendary Emote (Built-in)
- Spend 30s within 10m of a Player as Predator – unlocks the Yautja Wristblades Legendary Pickaxe
- Deal Damage while Thermal is Active as Predator – unlocks the Hunter’s Arsenal Wrap
