Cowabunga! Xbox is celebrating the theatrical release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem on August 2nd, 2023 by giving players an opportunity to take home a unique and mouth watering prize unlike any other – a pizza scented Xbox Wireless Controller. Josh Stein, Xbox Social Media made the announcement on July 24th, 2023 via Xbox Wire and stated that the controllers are designed to deliver the “smell of the Turtles’ beloved meal to your game time” which is made possible through built-in scent diffusers shaped like pepperoni pizza slices. Each controller features one of the iconic brothers and their personalities: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo respectively.
Players can enter this contest – in partnership with Paramount Pictures – by navigating to the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account and following the instructions. Entries will be accepted until the contest closes on August 13th, 2023 at 2:59AM EST with participants required to be at least 18 years of age or older as well as be a legal resident of an Xbox Console supported region or country. Rules and eligibility details can be found on the promotional website which confirms that four prize packages are available to be won with four individual winners being selected from all confirmed entries.
The highly anticipated animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem was co-written by Seth Rogen and features John Cena (Peacemaker), Rose Byrne (Instant Family), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) with Rogen himself voicing Bebop in the film. A potential sequel and spin-off series for Paramount+ are already being discussed with Jeff Rowe returning to direct whilst Point Grey Pictures – founded by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg – will produce both projects.
