The Fortnite beat goes on as the February Crew Pack offerings have officially made their way to the game for subscribers to enjoy. Epic Games announced on January 28th, 2022 that Aftermath would be living it up for the entire month with skull and bones in hand as well as a reactive Back Bling cosmetic which is a first for the subscription service. Players that have an active Fortnite Crew subscription were granted access to all of the latest offerings on January 31st, 2021 at 7PM EST alongside the usual bonus of 1,000 V-Bucks which can be used to purchase cosmetics from the Fortnite Item Shop. The service launched back in December 2020 and provides avid Fortnite players with a way to showcase their love for the game through exclusive rewards that would not be obtainable by any other means.
The February Fortnite Crew Pack includes the Aftermath Outfit which features a golden skull that resembles a disco ball and chromatic material on his clothing; the party does not stop in the afterlife and players can keep the beat going long into the night. Players can choose to equip either the default Hooded Style or remove it and sport the Unhood Style to showcase their golden cranial delight and become the life of the Battle Royale party. Rounding out the cosmetics included in the Shining Skull Set is the Flatline Back Bling which reacts to Emotes being performed whilst pulsating along with all of the action, the deadly Rave Digger Pickaxe, and Glitter n’ Grim Wrap – available for a limited time.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
Epic Games has previously released extra incentives in order to entice players to continue with and maintain their subscriptions in the form of exclusive cosmetics such as the Protocol Pack Back Bling which evolved with subsequential months of dedicated service; extremely likely that similar rewards and perks will become available in the future as Epic Games gathers feedback.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through the GeForce Now subscription service.
