Fall Guys Dives Into Fortnite With Floating Obstacle Course And Unfathomable Amount Of Bean Outfits
The adorably athletic Beans of Fall Guys have yeeted into Fortnite with a collaboration that brings a flying obstacle course to the island – allowing players to race for high value items and unlock exclusive rewards through simple participation like jumping, dashing, and bouncing! Epic Games launched Where We Fallin’ on August 6th, 2024 with players having until August 15th, 2024 to finish outstanding Quests before the highly anticipated Marvel 2.0 season takes flight. Epic Games officially acquired Mediatonic in 2021 following the commercial success of Fall Guys during the pandemic.
In Battle Royale/Zero Build – players will spot a flying obstacle course hovering near Classy Courts where six golden Bean Idols are surrounding it. Interacting with any Bean Idol will rift players high into the sky with their equipped Outfit temporarily transformed into a Bean Style for the duration of this particular experience; reverts back once players finish the course or time limit expires. Speed is key and players have an opportunity to grab valuable weapons and items with the following scores:
- Complete the course in less than 50 seconds for “Gold Tier” loot
- Complete the course between 50 and 80 seconds for “Silver Tier” loot
- Complete the course between 80 and 120 seconds for “Bronze Tier” loot
Players can earn up to three unique rewards including the Pink Plushie Back Bling, Everybody Falls (Chill Mix) Jam Track, and Banner Icon after completing Where We Fallin’ Quests which will also grants a small amount of XP to help boost Battle Pass progression. The obstacle course can be attempted once per match and is inaccessible once the area has been consumed by the storm. Epic Games states that only Fortnite original characters are able to be turned into Beans – third party characters such as Marvel and Star Wars for example will revert to default skins if players are currently using them.
Fortnite is available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Amazon Luna, and Android devices with iOS compatibility available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
