Grammy Award Winning Artist Ariana Grande Will Collide With Fortnite During Rift Tour Concert Event
Epic Games has confirmed that Grammy Award winning artist, Ariana Grande, will be taking Fortnite players on a musical journey into magical new realities during the Rift Tour with performances beginning on August 6th, 2021 at 6PM EST through August 8th, 2021 at 6PM EST. Her spectacular show will span across five different showtimes over the three day event, ensuring that fans around the world will be able to dive into the Rift Tour and experience the ride with their friends.
Players looking to attend the event are advised to load up Fortnite approximately 60 minutes before their desired showtime with the exclusive Rift Tour Playlist becoming available 30 minutes prior to the start of each show. Before Ariana Grande takes the stage, attendees can look forward to some unique Fortnite themed experiences which will pair popular musical tracks with moments that are inspired by different elements from the popular Battle Royale game.
Ariana Grande will also be making her debut in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 4th, 2021 at 8PM as the latest addition to the Icon Series with items including the Ariana Grande Outfit and Piggy Smallz Back Bling for a limited time. Ahead of the show, players can complete the first wave of Rift Tour Quests and unlock some FREE cosmetics including the Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen, Rift-sterpiece Spray, and Cloudy Kitty Emoticon with additional rewards available closer to the event.
Active Fortnite Crew subscribers will also benefit from the Rift Tour experience with three exclusive cosmetics awarded to those that log in to the game anytime between August 5th, 2021 at 10AM EST through August 9th, 2021 at 10AM EST. Members will unlock the Rainbow Cloudcrusier Glider, Skye up High Loading Screen, and a Rift Tour Banner. Additionally, everyone who attends the Rift Tour event will receive the commemorative Cuddly Cloudcruiser Glider.
Players can navigate to the Rift Tour tab in the game menu to check out all of the upcoming showtimes and confirm their attendance as well as keep up with all of the latest Rift Tour Quests. Epic Games recommends updating to v17.30 of Fortnite ahead of time in order to ensure that players are able to attend the event without any issues. Once capacity has been reached, the event will be unavailable for that particular showtime but players are encouraged to join the experience during one of the other scheduled shows; players can attend the event as many times as they desire.
