Players initially launched into Last Resort on August 25th, 2023 which revolves around a heist theme and Epic Games has wasted no time recruiting them as masterminds and spy centric characters have rotated through the Item Shop on several occasions. Security cameras might be watching closely – tracking their moves – but players can embrace their new roles and dress for the occasion with some good old fashion thievery attire that will work to help get the job done!
Players can purchase the Escape Artists Bundle for 1,800 V-Bucks which includes the Alias Outfit and Caper Outfit alongside sixteen Sprays – bundle exclusive – to equip on sixteen different areas including the head, torso, arms, and legs. The Last Resort storyline is scheduled to conclude on November 3rd, 2023 and became a favourite almost immediately among the Fortnite community with players digging the theme, map changes, and weapon loadouts. Epic Games has not announced whether Chapter 4 will end following Season 4 or continue with a fifth seasonal update as developers seemingly shifted production to yearly format with Chapter 3 but that very change has generated mixed feelings from players. The absence of live events and musical concerts were a cornerstone of Fortnite in previous years but limiting those experiences could signal that Epic Games is preparing for even greater things for the future of the game.
