Waterbending Abilities Make A Splash In Fortnite As Korra Quests Help Balance Strategies On The Island

The conflict between Myths and Mortals continues and players have another tactic at their disposal with Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra available to unlock as the secret skin in the Battle Pass until the conclusion of the season. The denizen of Wolf Cove officially dropped on April 2nd, 2024 along with the newest Mythic Item – Waterbending – which players can grab to harness the bending arts for themselves and hurl sharp, icy projectiles at opponents. While in water, health slowly regenerates and swimming is also increased; players must have ability occupying an item slot for effects to work. Waterbending technique can be looted from Chests or found on the ground.

Epic Games collaborated with Irene Koh – South Korean artist – to design several of the Korra Quest rewards. Koh previously worked for Dark Horse Comics, DC Comics, and Marvel Comics prior to serving as the primary artist for the Turf Wars trilogy in The Legend of Korra comics. Korra Quests will remain active until May 24th, 2024 at 2AM EST at which point they will no longer be obtainable. Players tackling their Quests must complete four challenges on Page One before Page Two becomes available but no linear path is necessary – choose whichever Quests to accomplish first. Additionally, several Quests can be completed in either Duos, Trios, and Squads which can expedite the process altogether.

Players can summon even more Avatar: The Last Airbender into their lives with the Avatar: Elements event taking place through May 3rd, 2024 which features a myriad of rewards – spread out across FREE and Premium Tracks respectively. Epic Games has revamped the Item Shop with an Avatar atheistic filled with other beloved characters from the series; sadly Sokka seems to have been excluded from the festivities however Epic Games is famously known for releasing collaborations in waves.
