Big Bang Event Promises Extraordinary Experiences As Fortnite Prepares To Rocket Onto Chapter 5 Map

Epic Games is preparing to launch their most unforgettable and mind blowing Fortnite experience to date with a musical concert thrown in for good measure. The Big Bang event is scheduled to take place in-game on December 2nd, 2023 at 2PM EST and players can squad up with their friends in parties of four; playlist will be available 30 minutes prior to the event – all other game modes will be taken offline including Battle Royale and Zero Build respectively. Fortnite Fracture happened last year and players have been craving for some captivating content to drive the convoluted story forward – live events have become a staple of the game with such occurrences only happening once in a lifetime; not replayable at a later date – The Big Bang Loading Screen will be awarded to all attendees afterwards.

The Big Bang event will mark the end of Fortnite OG and Chapter 4 as a whole – thrusting players into Chapter 5 following some downtime. Recording artist Eminem will be performing during the event with players able to purchase an assortment of cosmetics from the Item Shop; exclusive Style unlockable simply by attending the event; do not have to purchase anything beforehand. Epic Games is permitting Support-A-Creator participants temporary amnesty for posting content from The Big Bang event on their YouTube channel – monetizing it – for seven days. This experience does have sequences involving flashing lights and those with a history of photosensitivity, seizures, or related epileptic conditions should consult with a physician or exercise caution before jumping into this interactive event.

Players can grab the Slim Shady Bundle for 2,500 V-Bucks which includes the Rap Boy Outfit with an Unmasked Style, Slim Shady Outfit with Headphones and Shady Demon Styles, Mask Up Built-In Emote which can switch aforementioned Styles during a match, Shady Boombox Back Bling, and reactive Shady Double Saw Pickaxe. The Marshall Never More Bundle is also available for 2,000 V-Bucks which includes the Marshall Never More Outfit with Sleeves Rolled and Marshall Noir Styles, Raven’s Stare Back Bling, Mom’s Spaghetti Back Bling, Axe ‘Bout Me Pickaxe, and Raven Express Glider. Items can be procured separately as well but discounts are offered through the purchase of the entire bundle:

  • Marshal Never More Outfit (1,500 V-Bucks) | Mom’s Spaghetti Back Bling (400 V-Bucks)
  • Rap Boy Outfit (1,500 V-Bucks) | Slim Shady Outfit (1,900 V-Bucks)

Epic Games recently revealed that over 100 million players were active throughout November which can likely be attributed to the Chapter 1 map returning. The developers have been increasingly hyping up The Big Bang event on social media – players can expect a LEGO collaboration at some point alongside a rumoured Doctor Who which could coincide with the 60th anniversary of the iconic British television series which will see Ncuti Gatwa take over as the titular time traveling character.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Amazon Luna, and Android devices with iOS compatibility available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
