Epic Games Forges Future Of Fortnite Crew Service With Sylvie Smithing Her Own Medieval Adventures

The medieval landscape of Fortnite Chapter 4 is flourishing and Epic Games doubled down with the offerings for the February Crew Pack which kicked started the adventures of Sylvie – master blacksmith in an ageless kingdom. Subscribers were able to access their cosmetics on January 31st, 2023 alongside word that additional rewards would be granted throughout the month. The Fortnite Crew subscription service began in December 2020 and is marketed as the best way for players to maximize their Fortnite experience – as per the official FAQ (frequently asked questions) website. Cosmetics found within these bundles are exclusive to members and will never become available to the general public.

Players received the Sylvie Outfit, Groaker Back Bling with Reactive Style, Smith’s Slammers Pickaxe, and Groak’d Wrap. A bonus reward – Forging the Future Loading Screen – was provided afterwards to subscribers later that month and those that subscribed for both February and March received a bonus reward – The Masterwork Pickaxe – for maintaining their memberships. The Photonic Legacy had its next stage unlocked with players needing to subscribe to the Fortnite Crew service before the deadline of May 31st, 2023 at 8PM EST in order to be eligible to unlock the remaining Styles at their leisure.

As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
