Subscribers of the Fortnite Crew program are getting another Bonus Benefit with their paid monthly memberships. Epic Games is introducing Legacy Styles to the equation which sees future Outfits being equipped with additional Styles to unlock through continued enrollment; developers confirmed on September 29th, 2023 that not every Outfit will offer this latest bonus benefit. The good news is players will not have any deadline by which to unlock them and could potentially have multiple Outfits with Legacy Styles being worked on simultaneously. Epic Games previously offered the Legacy Sets incentive to the program that included the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set and Photonic Legacy Set awarding various cosmetics or customizable options in a similar fashion as what is being presented.
Players will receive the Shimmerdusk Outfit, Gothic Gearpack Back Bling, Fae Infiltrator Loading Screen, and Huntress’ Duskblade Pickaxe. Subscribers who maintain their Fortnite Crew memberships can unlock five additional Styles for both the Outfit and Back Bling – concurrent months not required however the initial Outfit must have been obtained when it was made available. Epic Games will include the same four Styles with each future Legacy Style eligible Outfit alongside one Style which is exclusive solely to that respected monthly offering; Hunter’s Legacy equippable to Shimmerdusk alone:
- 2 months of subscribing after acquiring Fortnite Crew Pack (Auric Legacy Style)
- 3 months of subscribing after acquiring Fortnite Crew Pack (Phase Legacy Style)
- 4 months of subscribing after acquiring Fortnite Crew Pack (Rimebound Legacy Style)
- 5 months of subscribing after acquiring Fortnite Crew Pack (Cosmic Legacy Style)
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased it will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and V-Bucks obtained during the subscription period will permanently remain on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
