Fortnite Promotion Unlocks Dazzle Daggers Pickaxe By Accessing It Through Xbox Cloud Gaming Service
Epic Games and Microsoft have recently partnered up to bring Fortnite back to iOS mobile devices once again with players able to access the game through the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. A subscription for Xbox Game Pass is not required which means that players have the opportunity to board the Battle Bus with their friends and have a great time at no additional cost. With the latest summer season officially in full swing, Epic Games is celebrating by offering players the chance to earn an exclusive cosmetic and return to Fortnite on their favourite iOS device, tablet, and Windows PC browser for a limited time.
Players can unlock the Dazzle Daggers Pickaxe by simply launching Fortnite through the official Xbox Cloud Gaming website before June 20th, 2022 at 11:59PM EST. A strong high-speed internet connection is required in order to access the service and works incredibly well on most older devices and models with some restrictions applying; gameplay experience might vary between players. Epic Games explains that the reward will be granted immediately afterwards with players receiving a gift box containing the item; may become available in the Item Shop at a later date or as part of another promotion.
Although the dedicated iOS version of Fortnite has been trapped in Chapter 2 – Season 3 since getting banned by Apple back in August 2020 as a result of the lawsuit, Xbox Cloud Gaming runs extremely well with a smooth gameplay experience. Players can subsequently choose between touch controls or pair up their favourite bluetooth device – including the Razer Kishi – for a fully customized gaming session on the subway, at the airport terminal gate, or wherever their travel itinerary takes them. Players can now enjoy Battle Royale, Zero Build, Impostors, Creative, and Save the World modes; the latter of which is currently unavailable to play on smartphone and tablet devices at this particular point in time.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
