Fortnite X Moncler Collaboration Delivers Winter Ready Threads For Some High Altitude Exploration
Epic Games has brought a NEW form of self-expression to the world of Fortnite as the studio has partnered with world renowned French fashion label Moncler to bring a variety of winter ready gear and cosmetics to the Item Shop. Players were first introduced to the summit-centric spirit of the Moncler Classic Set on November 20th, 2021 at 7PM EST and it will remain available to purchase for a limited time; collaborations of this magnitude tend to stick around for a longer duration than standard Fortnite Item Shop rotations, bundles, and special offers. Players that ascend the large mountain near Catty Corner – or any high altitude for that matter – will notice that their respected Outfits of choice will transform between different colours and patterns; including during the decent as well.
The Moncler Classic Set is inspired by the 6 Moncler 1017 Alyx 9SM collection which was designed by Matthew Williams and celebrates light and darkness. Players can purchase the Moncler Classic Bundle for 1,800 V-Bucks which includes two Outfits – Andre and Renee – as well as selectable Styles for each available Outfit. Andre comes equipped with the Chalet Style and Andre (Reactive) Style whilst Renee comes equipped with the Snow Stealth Style and Renee (Reactive) Style. This bundle also includes an exclusive cosmetic – The Summit Loading Screen – which cannot be purchased separately.
Players looking to pack some extra gear for their next Battle Royale adventure can purchase the Moncler Classic Gear Bundle for 800 V-Bucks which includes the Umbra-Axe Pickaxe, Para-Pluie Glider, and Umbra-Tube Back Bling. These three cosmetics go hand-in-hand as players will be able to activate the Glider and draw the Pickaxe directly from the Back Bling when equipped together.
