Mecha Strike Commander Prepares For Battle Once Again With Smorgasbord Of Fortnite Crew Offerings
After a thrilling battle against The Imagined Order last season, Epic Games has officially released the Mecha Strike Commander in its entirety to the Fortnite Crew Pack for June 2022 after withholding a few cosmetics which would have spoiled aspects of the Live Event beforehand. The first announcement was posted on May 31st, 2022 with an amended article shortly afterwards on June 5th, 2022 that disclosed the full extent of the available cosmetics for subscribers. Epic Games has been known to provide active members with additional items with Crew Packs as appreciation for their continued support as well as some extra incentive for new comers to join the ranks and grab their own exclusive benefits.
The June 2022 Fortnite Crew Pack comes packaged with the Mecha Strike Commander Outfit, Mecha Light Capacitor Back Bling, Mecha Reborn Wrap, Light Blade Pickaxe, The Heartbreaker Emote, Fully Operational Loading Screen, Mecha Strike Commander Banner. These items will be available through June 30th, 2022 at 8PM EST at which point they will be vaulted with the potential to reappear at some point in the future; only for Fortnite Crew subscribers – Epic Games has stated that cosmetics featured in Crew Packs will never make their way to the Item Shop. Members will also receive 1,000 V-Bucks to be used at their own discretion; earn Battle Stars and unlock Darth Vader even faster.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
