Fortnite Short Nite Returns To Party Royale With Gildedguy Celebrating His Debut In The Item Shop

Epic Games is rolling out the red carpet once again as Short Nite returns for another year with a series of animated shorts premiering exclusively in Party Royale by up-and-coming creators. The event kicks off on July 23rd, 2021 at 2PM EST with the short films continuing non-stop through July 25th, 2021 at 2PM EST. Short Nite 2 will also include the world premiere of the next entry in the popular Gildedguy series – Gildedguy Gets Up! – which features music by Emma Stevens.

The animated shorts that will be headlining the film festival style event range from comedic, rhythmic, and action-packed with a total runtime of approximately 40 minutes; shorts will run for 48 consecutive hours following the initial premiere. Players that are NEW to Fortnite or have not previously joined a Party Royale session can head over to the official website and get all of the details on this experimental and evolving space which includes minigames, concerts, movies, and more!

Players can celebrate the premiere of Gildedguy Gets Up! starting on July 22nd, 2021 at 8PM EST with the Gildedguy Bundle which includes the Gildedguy Outfit, Slush Fighter Cape Back Bling, and Stellapen Smashpack Pickaxe for 1,800 V-Bucks. Items can also be purchased individually with the Outfit available for 1,500 V-Bucks and the Pickaxe for 800 V-Bucks.

Streaming the event on Twitch or uploading video segments to YouTube is strictly prohibited and Epic Games is instead inviting players to enjoy the Short Nite festivities with their communities in-game; streams or video on demand (VOD) will be removed as per content protection rules.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
