The Bad Boy Of South Beach Has Come To Fortnite And Is Ready To Take On Some Alien Invaders

Fresh from the streets of South Beach where the action and nightlife is always filled with explosive action, Mike Lowrey – the iconic character from the popular Bad Boys franchise – has officially come to the world of Fortnite for a limited time. Lowrey is portrayed by Will Smith and debuted in the 1995 film Bad Boys as well as its subsequent sequels Bad Boys II (2003) and Bad Boys For Life (2020) which received generally positive reviews. A fourth entry in the franchise is currently in development with both Will Smith and Martin Lawrence slated to return and reprise their roles.

Players looking to add Mike Lowrey to their Fortnite Locker can purchase him from the Item Shop for 1,500 V-Bucks which includes the Mike Lowrey Outfit and Detective’s Duffle Back Bling with the Loose Cannon Cutters Pickaxe rounding out the Loose Cannon Set for 500 V-Bucks. While there is no bundle available, players can pick up all of the associated items for 2,000 V-Bucks; perfect for those that have recently subscribed to the Fortnite Crew which rewards active members with a bonus of 1,000 V-Bucks every month. Epic Games recently announced that The Burning Wolf will headline the September Crew Pack which will include additional Styles for recurring subscriptions.

While the Mike Lowrey Outfit looks incredible and the reception from it has been well received by the Fortnite community, some fans were left wondering why Epic Games decided to go with this particular character as opposed to one of Smith’s other famous roles including Agent J from the Men in Black franchise or Captain Steven Hiller from Independence Day which both would have worked incredibly well given the whole alien invasion theme and storyline. Chapter 2 – Season 7 of Fortnite is scheduled to conclude on September 12th, 2021 with an action-packed LIVE Event experience.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
