Triarch Nox Progressed Syndicate Storyline After Emerging From Darkness With April Fortnite Crew
Shrouded in darkness – Triarch Nox attempted to spread chaos around the island with directives safeguard terminals and prevent players from accessing them. The storyline for Chapter 4 – Season 2 revolves around espionage with an unknown saboteur working diligently to ensure that all factions within the confines of MEGA City are occupied with inter-syndicate war. Quest dialogue suggests that something far more sinister is at play and Triarch Nox could be affiliated with The Last Reality who players will recall attempted to control the island in Chapter 2 and were successful in that venture with the arrival of The Herald in Chapter 3 after being consumed by a chrome-like substance.
Players received the Triarch Nox Outfit with Reactive Style, Midnight Aegis Back Bling, Starlit Sai Pickaxe, and Noxious Wrap; visual FX for the Back Bling and Pickaxe could be switched between on/off states to suit the player. Additionally, those that have not completed the Photonic Legacy Set would have subsequently unlocked the next available stage – deadline to start earning the exclusive cosmetic ends on May 31st, 2023 at 8PM EST. Epic Games has been rolling out incentives for players to maintain their Fortnite Crew subscriptions since August 2021 with the Protocol Pack which suggests that either an Outfit or Glider could get the same treatment in the future; nothing has been confirmed.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
