Zero Crisis Finale Will Mark Explosive Conclusion To The Events Of Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 5
Agent Jones has been busy dimension hopping and recruiting Hunters to protect the exposed Zero Point and prevent anyone from escaping the Loop throughout the entire Chapter 2 – Season 5 storyline of Fortnite and it would appear that his work has now caused the Zero Point to become more unstable with each passing day. Over the course of several weeks, players have noticed strange noise emanating from the Hunter portals, unique colours and animations, as well as the Zero Point itself fracturing into multiple shards; pulsing and ready to explode at any moment. What could be next for Agent Jones?
Epic Games has confirmed that there will not be a LIVE Event this time around to close out the events of Season 5 which began on December 2nd, 2020 but will instead involve a NEW solo experience called Zero Point Crisis that will act as the explosive conclusion to Agent Jones’ mission and thrust players directly into Season 6 which is scheduled to begin on March 16th, 2021 with a new theme, gameplay, cosmetics, and more! Previously, large-scale events have been the norm that often attract millions of players from around the world allows them to participate simultaneously and witness a once in a lifetime cinematic without any standard gameplay mechanics; players cannot kill each other during this time.
Once the Chapter 2 – Season 6 update goes LIVE in Fortnite starting tomorrow, players will automatically experience and play through the Zero Crisis Finale whenever they log into the game for the first time on or after March 16th, 2021 with a standard game likely taking place immediately following its conclusion. Epic Games will also host a global premiere online for players to watch the most ambitious story cinematic to date before jumping into the action; the aftermath of this event is poised to shape Reality as we know it.
Fans have been receiving hints about the direction for Season 6 from Agent Jones himself, in a series of Reality Logs that seem to highlight his frustration with The Imagined Order (IO) – the fictitious company whom Jones is employed – and their lack of action in preventing Reality from collapsing altogether. A second Reality Log reveals that The IO have rescinded his credentials and have seemingly locked him out of his current position with the company to which Jones declares: “If you’re not going to give me what I need – I’m just going to have to take it.”

There is still a little more time for players to finish levelling up their Season 5 Battle Pass and unlock some unique cosmetics including upgrades to The Mandalorian armour as well as The Child (Grogu) Back Bling upon reaching Level 100 with Beskar Quests providing a means to unlock a variant for Mando’s armour as seen in the hit Disney+ series. Players can unlock even more rewards by dominating the competition and ranking up their Battle Pass to Level 225 to earn the Sapphire, Topaz, and Zero Point variants for Reese, Mancake, Mave, Kondor, and Menace. The Breathless Blades Pickaxe which was previously available during the Hearts Wild Team Battles back in February can still be obtained by completing either Fishstick or Lovely’s Epic Quests before the end of Season 5 and will be rewarded to players shortly after Season 6 begins.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
