Award-Winning Artist Billie Eilish Headlines Tertiary Fortnite Festival Season; Wireless Guitar Controllers
The third season of Fortnite Festival has arrived with decorated musical artist Billie Eilish taking the stage for Season 3 which includes an entirely new Festival Pass and a highly requested feature involving plastic instrument support. Players jumped into this crowning performance on April 23rd, 2024 with Billie Eilish wrapping up her engagement on June 13th, 2024 at 12AM EST. There are over 20+ cosmetics populating the Festival Pass this season and Epic Games confirms that another batch of Billie Eilish items will be rotating through the Item Shop – similar fashion as seen previously with that of Lady Gaga and The Weeknd respectively; another Outfit and Jam Tracks are expected in a few weeks.
Players can earn Festival Points on the Main Stage and Jam Stage – both have Quests to accomplish including jamming with other players, maintaining accuracy, and clearing higher difficulties. Everyone is able to unlock items found in the FREE Rewards Track while the Premium Rewards Track requires an additional fee of 1,800 V-Bucks in order to access; players will receive the Green Roots Billie Outfit with their purchase. The Ultraviolet Style is Festival Pass exclusive – remaining cosmetics are subject to appear in the Item Shop however that particular Style will be unobtainable unless players successfully work through each tier and unlock it before the deadline; incentive for Festival Pass upgrades.

And while Billie Eilish in Fortnite Festival is great news – the bigger news is Epic Games implementing controller support including Rock Band 4 Wireless Fender Jaguar and Stratocaster models along with the upcoming RIFFMASTER Wireless Guitar Controller from Performance Designed Products (PDP) which releases later this month. Epic Games is planning on bringing additional instrument support to Fortnite Festival in the future; drums and keytar peripherals are the obvious candidates.
