Fortnite Crew Goes Royal With Subscribers Getting Double Rewards During Their August Membership

The Fortnite Crew service is offering double rewards for its August Crew Pack and that is a reason to celebrate. Epic Games markets the monthly subscription service as a way for players to maximize their overall Fortnite experience with exclusive cosmetics that will never become available to the general public; membership has its privileges. Crew Packs occasionally relate to the current storyline or provide backstory to iconic characters with Styx and Dahlia causing chaos during Chapter 4 – Season 2 whilst Burning Wolf and Sierra expanded the history of Midas himself. Epic Games has heavily themed a lot of Chapter 4 content around the medieval era with castles and royalty playing a key role in events.

Subscribers receive the Princess Lexa Outfit, Celestial Crest Back Bling, Sovereign Sabers Pickaxe, Prince Orin Outfit, Celestial Guide Back Bling, Prince Orin’s Polearm Pickaxe, as well as the A Royal Destiny Loading Screen. Members that have maintained their subscriptions for the past few months will unlock the next stage of the Winter Trickster’s Legacy Set which features the Volpez Outfit as the final reward – another first for the Fortnite Crew service. Legacy Sets were added to the Fortnite Crew service on August 31st, 2021 as membership incentives – Photonic Striker and Protocol Pack – which were cosmetics equipped with different Styles to unlock rather than different items altogether.

As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased it will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and V-Bucks obtained during the subscription period will permanently remain on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, Amazon Luna, and Android devices – iOS compatibility available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
