Fortnite Days Of Doom Pits Avengers Against Doom Henchmen With Offensive And Defensive Gameplay

Avengers… assemble! Epic Games has dropped their latest LTM – Day of Doom – which finds players engaging in team based warfare. Team A takes the offensive as Doom’s Henchmen whom must capture Arcane Artifacts scattered across the island whilst Team B plays defensively as Avengers working to defeat Doom’s Henchmen by depleting their respawns. Veteran players will recognize this gameplay as it is similar to Endgame from Chapter 1 – Season 8 with some minor differences. Players have until October 4th, 2024 to demonstrate their mettle and earn the Nanamantium Fury Loading Screen along with over 200,000 XP from twelve unique Day of Doom Quests – only eight are required.

Avengers drop in with specialized loadouts based on Captain America, Iron Man, War Machine, and Black Panther respectively; loadouts are randomized with subsequent respawns – unlimited until all six Arcane Artifacts have been acquired by the opposing team. While Doom’s Henchmen have a finite number of respawns, they have an arsenal of weapons including Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets and chances to be Doom’s Chosen with Scorch Beam and Mystical Gigabomb abilities. Mythic weapons appear exclusively in Doom’s Henchmen loadouts which include unlimited Shockwave Grenade usages with a ten second cooldown. It only takes six seconds before an Arcane Artifacts is collected.
