League Of Legends Returns To Fortnite With Arcane Vi Unleashing Her Vigorous Piltover Warden Punch

The world of Fortnite has welcomed another Champion from the League of Legends universe with the arrival of Arcane Vi who joins her sister Arcane Jinx for some Battle Royale action! Her character design is inspired by her appearance in the critically acclaimed Netflix series – Arcane – and landed in the Item Shop on January 22nd, 2022 at 7PM EST alongside Arcane Jinx once again. The animated series debuted on November 6th, 2021 and explores the origins of several beloved characters including Vi, Jayce, and Jinx with Hailee Steinfeld (Apple TV’s Dickinson), Kevin Alejandro (Netflix’s Lucifer), and Ella Purnell (Netflix’s Army of the Dead) providing the voices respectively. A second season was officially announced via the official Arcane Twitter page with a release date currently unknown; in production.

Players can purchase the Arcane Vi Bundle from the Item Shop for 1,800 V-Bucks which includes the Arcane Vi Outfit, Memories of Zaun Back Bling, Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe, Punching Practice Emote, and Piltover’s Finest Loading Screen. Those wishing to purchase individual items rather than the entire bundle can do so with the Arcane Vi Outfit, Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe, and Punching Practice Emote available for 1,500 V-Bucks, 800 V-Bucks, and 200 V-Bucks on their own with players able to receive a discount of 700 V-Bucks when selecting the bundle; Piltover’s Finest Loading Screen is exclusive to the bundle and cannot be purchased separately. Fans quickly noted the absence of her signature Gauntlets and while Epic Games has stated that they are being repaired, the Hulk Smashers Pickaxe have proven to be an acceptable substitute; could always be added in the future.

Arcane Vi is the latest addition to the Fortnite Gaming Legends Series which includes the likes of Master Chief (Halo Infinite), Kratos (God of War Ragnarök), Aloy (Horizon Forbidden West), Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Psycho Bandit (Borderlands), Cammy (Street Fighter), Guile (Street Fighter), Ryu (Street Fighter), Chun-Li (Street Fighter), Chris Redfield (Resident Evil), Jill Valentine (Resident Evil), Marcus Fenix (Gears of War), and Kait Diaz (Gears of War) respectfully; the latter of which were both revealed to be making their way to Fortnite during the Chapter 3 Overview Trailer with Delta-One Quests.
