G.I. Joe Operative “Snake Eyes” Becomes Latest Hunter Recruited To Protect The Zero Point

Real name? Classified. Ninja master? Verified. Agent Jones continues to add to his never-ending dossier of Hunters from across all the realities with G.I. Joe Operative “Snake Eyes” being the latest addition to the Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 5 storyline. Epic Games teases the arrival of new characters through cryptic messages sent from Agent Jones himself, but eagle-eyed fans were quick to make the connection to G.I. Joe from the “knowing is half the battle” comment which is a staple in the cartoon that aimed to teach children about staying safe during their own adventures.

The Arashikage Clan set includes: Snake Eyes Outfit, Katana Pickaxe, and Katana Back Bling which can be purchased for 1,800 V-Bucks; approximately $21.58 CAD for a limited time in the Item Shop.

Hasbro is also working collaboratively with Epic Games to produce an action figure based on the likeness of Snake Eyes in the game and is currently available for pre-order from Hasbro Pulse for $39.99 USD and includes:

  • Highly posable 6-inch figure with over 20 points of articulation
  • Detailed Fortnite-inspired weapon accessories, including Harpoon Launcher, Boogie Bomb, Grenade, Clinger, Chiller Grenade, as well as the Submachine weapon and Mythic Shockwave Launcher accessories featuring the Weathered Black Wrap deco as seen in-game
  • Includes signature katana, Morning Light, and sheath accessories inspired by the G.I. Joe universe
  • Comes with Boogie Bomb bandolier accessory that attaches around the figure’s chest and a swappable alt hand holding a ninja throwing star

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
