Look Morty! Queen Summer And Mr. Meeseeks Are Ready To Fulfil Their Fortnite Battle Royale Purpose

Another Rick and Morty crossover came to Fortnite as Mr. Meeseeks and Queen Summer from the popular Adult Swim animated series took their turn in the spotlight. Epic Games seemingly managed to procure their own Mr. Meeseeks Box (or borrowed one from Rick) and activated it – summoning both characters to the game on October 18th, 2022 with players having the opportunity to add them to their personal Lockers later that evening. The two titular characters which form the namesake of the show dropped during Chapter 2 – Season 7 with Rick serving as the Level 100 reward and Morty hitting the Item Shop a few weeks prior to the conclusion of the alien invasion inspired season.

Players could purchase the Mr. Meeseeks Bundle from the Item Shop for 2,100 V-Bucks which came with the Mr. Meeseeks Outfit, Meeseeks’ Box Back Bling, Summoned Katana Pickaxe, and Meeseeks Manifest Glider. There was a sizable discount of 1,000 V-Bucks with the bundle but players were able to procure each item individually – 1,500 V-Bucks for the Outfit and 800 V-Bucks each for the Pickaxe and Glider. The Queen Summer Bundle was priced similarly at 2,100 V-Bucks and included the Queen Summer Outfit, Glorzo Egg Gutsy Grabber Pickaxe, and Glorzo Fighter Ship Glider. Players could customize the Queen Summer Outfit with a Cape Off Style – the aforementioned discount and prices for each individual cosmetic was identical to those packaged with the Mr. Meeseeks bundle.

Rick and Morty was created by Justin Roiland (Solar Opposites) and Dan Harmon (Community) and airs exclusively on Cartoon Network. It premiered on December 2nd, 2013 and features the voice talents of Chris Parnell (Saturday Night Live) and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) whom voice Jerry Smith and Beth Smith respectively. The show is currently running its sixth season with more slated for the future.
