Martial Arts Master Shang-Chi Has Officially Arrived In Fortnite With A Comic Book Inspired Appearance

Leaping out of the Battle Bus and onto the the big screen in theatres around the world, Shang-Chi has arrived on the Fortnite Island to battle against the invading forces of The Last Reality and whatever else crosses his path. Armed with weapons that just had his hands even deadlier, enemies of the Five Weapons Society should run for the hills and beware because the latest collaboration between Marvel and Epic Games is jumping into the action through the Fortnite Item Shop for a limited time.

Players can add the Kung-Fu Master himself to their Fortnite Locker with the Shang-Chi Bundle which includes the Shang-Chi Outfit, Great Protector’s Shield Back Bling, Blades of Brother Hand Pickaxe, and the Dragon’s Scale Wrap for 1,800 V-Bucks. Items are also available to purchase separately including the Shang-Chi Outfit for 1,500 V-Bucks, Blades of Brother Hand Pickaxe for 500 V-Bucks, and the Dragon’s Scale Wrap for 300 V-Bucks; total cost is 2,300 V-Bucks on their own with the bundle offering a 500 V-Bucks discount and only costs 1,800 V-Bucks.

Epic Games released the Shang-Chi Outfit on September 2nd, 2021 at 8PM EST ahead of his theatrical release on September 3rd, 2021 with Canadian actor Simu Liu (Kim’s Convenience) portraying the titular character. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to feature a predominantly Asian cast with Destin Daniel Cretton making history as the first Asian director behind an MCU project. Audiences and critics from around the world have been praising the film which currently holds a 92% rating (Certified Fresh) on Rotten Tomatoes with 232 reviews and an audience score of 98% with over 2,500 verified ratings.
