Raptors Have Hatched From Their Eggs And Will Challenge Whatever Crosses Their Path
Just when players thought it was safe to go running through the Primal Biome with their squad, a prehistoric apex predator has now emerged to challenge anything and anyone that crosses its path. Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 6 has thrust players into a world where makeshift weapons, primitive structures, and various wildlife dominate the landscape with NEW gameplay mechanics and strategies to master in order to achieve Victory Royale status against equally hungry opponents.
When the Zero Crisis Finale had concluded, players were frantically exploring the Island to capture their reactions and document the recent changes brought into the game via the latest update. Dozens of players quickly noted the presence of dinosaur eggs nestled snugly in nesting regions scattered throughout the Primal Biome, and after a couple of days, the eggs started to show signs of hatching – but what exactly was going to come out the other side? The internet was buzzing with their own theories as to what might come from this update including the possibility of rideable dinosaurs as another mode of transportation, which quite honestly would be very cool and fit perfectly well within the primal theme.
Alas, the prehistoric yet highly intelligent apex predator iteself – Raptor – has taken up residence on the Island and will provide a challenging yet rewarding encounter should players be unlucky enough to meet them on the field of battle. For starters, Raptors roam around in pairs – similar to wolves – and will defend their packmate should they become engaged in combat. They will be actively hostile towards players and attack immediately without hesitation but can be tamed by players utilizing the Hunter’s Cloak which can be crafted from Animal Bones and Meat or by simply throwing pieces of meat in front of them. Raptors are impossible to outrun and will be perfect to hunt down an enemy squad.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
