Reboot Rally Returns To Coincide With Fortnite OG Season; Dragon Themed Rewards For Participants
The seasonal Reboot Rally event is here and Epic Games has given players plenty of reasons to jump back into Fortnite with their friends – now more than ever with the beloved Chapter 1 map returning for a limited time. Players have until December 2nd, 2023 to invite eligible participants to squad up with them and earn points towards FREE rewards including the Knight’s Treachery Pickaxe. Epic Games has stated that rewards issued during the event are not exclusive and could potentially make their way to the Item Shop for purchase at a later date; previous cosmetics have followed a similar pattern.
Participants must have played Fortnite for less than 2 hours within the last 30 days in order to qualify for the event. Active players can rally their friends through the in-game Lobby Sidebar which includes a list of those able to be selected; invitations can be sent to multiple people and Quests can be tackled with different friends too. Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals award points to participants that play together – cannot be finished alone – with varying degrees of difficulty and denominations:
- Earn 50 points: Infernal GG Emoticon
- Earn 100 points: Burning Dragon Wrap
- Earn 150 points: Skerran Glider
- Earn 200 points: Knight’s Treachery Pickaxe
Similar events have taken place in the past – Refer a Friend and Reboot a Friend – which collectively serve the same purpose. Fortnite has become a cultural phenomenon with Epic Game bringing beloved properties into the game including Marvel, Star Wars, DC Comics, and more. Players have attended musical experiences from the comfort of their home and participated in unforgettable story based live events that pushes boundaries and drives engagement forward. Players that might have stepped away from Fortnite for an extended period of time will undoubtedly find something extraordinary.
