Epic Games Remixes Hybrid For November Fortnite Crew Pack; Players Can Embrace The Dragon Within

The latest Fortnite Crew Pack has dropped and Epic Games is taking a trip to days of Fortnite past by remixing a classic character. Drakon Steel Hybrid is now available for subscribers and veteran players should instantly recognize him as he is an updated version of Hybrid who appeared in the Season 8 Battle Pass of Chapter 1 which debuted over 4 years ago. And since Battle Pass cosmetics are exclusive to their respected season, players have a brief window by which to obtain them before Epic Games vaults them forever as they not release them in the Item Shop or by other methods. Crew Packs might return at a later date – confirmed by Epic Games – but such an instance has yet to occur.

Players will receive the Drakon Steel Hybrid Outfit, Drakonscale Duo Back Bling, and Drakon Claws Pickaxe – latter unsheathes from Back Bling if both are equipped. Last month, Epic Games had revealed that future Crew Packs could potentially include Legacy Styles which unlock additional Styles through subsequent months of membership; does not have to be consecutive. One Style will be exclusive to the monthly offering whilst four Styles will be available to applicable offerings moving forward:

• 1 month of subscription after acquiring Crew Pack (Drakonic Legacy Style – exclusive)
• 2 months of subscription after acquiring Crew Pack (Auric Legacy Style)
• 3 months of subscription after acquiring Crew Pack (Phase Legacy Style)
• 4 months of subscription after acquiring Crew Pack (Rimebound Legacy Style)
• 5 months of subscription after acquiring Crew Pack (Cosmic Legacy Style)

As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased it will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and V-Bucks obtained during the subscription period will permanently remain on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, Amazon Luna, and Android devices with iOS compatibility available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
