Sea Witch Phaedra Battles Above The Inky Surface Throughout July With Fortnite Crew Pack Cosmetics
Lurking below the waves with an inkling of powerful magic is Phaedra – a sea witch that has taken her battle above the surface as the latest Fortnite Crew Pack headliner. Epic Games unleased the shadowy conjuror on June 30th, 2022 at 8PM EST for active subscribers which includes access to one of the other game modes found within the Fortnite ecosystem – Save the World – at no additional cost; previously incorporated with past Crew Pack bundles or specialty packs from the Item Shop. Players will have until July 31st, 2022 at 8PM EST to sign up and acquire these exclusive cosmetics before they rotate out with the potential of reappearing at some point in the future; only for Fortnite Crew members.
Subscribers will unlock the Phaedra Outfit with a Shrouded Style, Ceph Back Bling, Stygian Parasol Pickaxe, Gothic Shadesoarer Glider, and the Inky Reflection Loading Screen. Epic Games has stated numerous times that Crew Pack cosmetics have the potential of returning but it is not currently known what would happen for those that already subscribed and redeemed those particular items during its initial run. Players could be compensated with a generous payout of V-Bucks that equates to the total value of the bundle, the acquisition of another set of Crew Pack offerings, or perhaps a reward similar to the Legacy Set which granted styles for recurring subscription status to the program.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
