Southpaw Throws Some Powerful Robotic Punches Into Fortnite Crew Subscription With May Offerings
Everybody loves an underdog and Southpaw is ready to punch her way through the competition with robotic enhancements that will surely delight Fortnite Crew subscribers. Epic Games officially revealed the offerings of the May Crew Pack on April 27th, 2022 which subsequently became available to active members shortly afterwards on April 30th, 2022 at 8PM EST. The Fortnite Crew originally launched back in December 2020 and provides dedicated players with a means of showcasing their love for Fortnite through monthly rewards which cannot be obtainable by any other means. Players that have missed a previous Crew Pack could have another chance to grab them as Epic Games has publicly stated that these exclusive cosmetics might return again but only for subscribers; never in the Item Shop.
The May 2022 Fortnite Crew Pack includes the Southpaw Outfit, Counterpunch Back Bling, and Arc Flail Pickaxe. Those that remain subscribed throughout the month of May will receive bonus rewards in the form of Loading Screens – chronicling Southpaw and her combatant journey – alongside a Lobby Track and alternative Styles for the Outfit, Back Bling, and Pickaxe. Epic Games has been providing members with additional rewards for several cycles of the Fortnite Crew service since launching nearly two years ago which ultimately benefits both parties: more players join (monthly payments) and unlock special items to proudly display and showcase in their next Battle Royale or Zero Build match.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
