Tackle Your Way To Dodgeball Dominance In The Knockout City Cross-Play Beta This Easter Weekend

Assemble your all-star squad and get ready to throw, catch, pass, dodge, and tackle your way to dodgeball dominance as the Knockout City Cross-Play Beta kicks off this Easter weekend. Knockout City features mind-blowing dodgeball mechanics that players can master to rule the city with their friends and jump into a seamless multiplayer experience including 3v3, 4v4, and Free-for-All style matches regardless of which platform each player is using. The game features familiar controls that will be easy to pick up and play but requires some practice and determination in order to perfect and become a champion.

The Knockout City Cross-Play Beta weekend event will begin on April 2nd, 2021 and conclude on April 4th, 2021 at 9PM EST across all of the available platforms including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via the Origin, Steam, and Epic Games clients. Players were able to preload the game starting on March 31st, 2021 on the platform of their choice and everything from the PC Closed Beta which was held back in February 2021 is included in the Cross-Play Beta such as the Rooftop Rumble, Concussion Yard, and Knockout Roundabout multiplayer maps, the popular Team K.O. playlist, and NEW customization styles.

Those who previously participated in the Closed PC Beta will notice a few additions not present last time around including a NEW multiplayer map – Back Alley Brawl – as well as a NEW dodgeball – Sniper Ball – for players to harness and take out their opponents from a distance. Players will also have the opportunity to compete against each other in two NEW multiplayer modes like Diamond Dash and Face-Off which will be available at various times throughout the weekend. Participation in the Cross-Play Beta weekend will unlock an exclusive pair of rewards – Epic Beta Blue Boosters Glider & Beta Brawler Player Icon – that can be used immediately once Knockout City launches later this year as a thank you from Electronic Arts (EA) for checking out and participating in the beta.

Full details and information on how to participate in the Cross-Play Beta can be found on the official Knockout City website including direct links for each platform. Registration does not guarantee access.

Knockout City is scheduled to release on May 21st, 2021 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and Windows PC.
