Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi Seeks Shelter Against Imperial Forces Hunting Him On The Fortnite Island
Beloved and fan-favourite Jedi Master – Obi-Wan Kenobi – has made the journey to Fortnite in honour of the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+ which sees the titular character attempting to survive in a post-Order 66 galaxy where Jedi are hunted relentlessly. Epic Games revealed on May 20th, 2022 that Fortnite players would be able to get their hands on him beginning May 26th, 2022 at 8PM EST shortly after a special Duos tournament; top performers unlocking his cosmetics prior to them being released in the Item Shop. After the successful return of Star Wars Day with unvaulted cosmetics and lightsabers added back to loot pools, players were ready for more galactic goodness from a galaxy far far away!
The Obi-Wan Kenobi Bundle can be purchased for 2,200 V-Bucks and includes the Obi-Wan Kenobi Outfit with Desert Essentials Back Bling, Obi-Wan’s Blade Pickaxe, Jedi Interceptor Glider, Obi-Wan’s Message Emote, and exclusive Kenobi, Surrounded Loading Screen. Players looking to obtain certain items can grab the Outfit, Emote, and Glider for 1,600 V-Bucks, 200 V-Bucks, and 1,200 V-Bucks whilst the Loading Screen is only available through the discounted bundle deal. Despite not having access to a more permanent lightsaber to swing around and obliterate opponents at their leisure, players could potentially be pulling off that very action in the near future. Darth Vader might be coming to the game according to rumours and speculation; possible Chapter 3 – Season 3 Battle Pass reward.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is a six-part event with Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the Jedi Master which he played during the Star Wars prequel trilogy films: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith respectively. Disney has reported that the show had become the most-watched Disney+ original series on the service to date – based on the amount of hours streamed after its initial premiere; the first two episodes dropped on May 27th, 2022 at 12AM EST. Hayden Christensen returns to the Star Wars universe as Darth Vader which helps fuel the argument that players will be seeing the iconic Dark Lord of the Sith make his Fortnite debut appearance in the near future.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
