Tilted Towers Returns To Fortnite Alongside Most Adorable Legendary Creature On The Entire Island
The entire Fortnite community is overjoyed as a beloved location – Titled Towers – has been officially added back into the game after being removed approximately 3 years; last seen during Season 8 of Chapter 1 after a volcanic eruption obliterated it entirely. At the beginning of Chapter 3 which launched on December 5th, 2021 after a brief period of downtime, eagle eyed players were quick to point out a mysterious location on the redesigned map which appeared to be hiding something beneath all of the snow and ice. The internet was subsequently abuzz with rumours and theories that the iconic location was coming back after spectators had matched the giant ice blocks perfectly with buildings that were previously found at the popular landing spot; it was all but confirmed at this point in time.
Epic Games was also hiding something else underneath the snow and the Fortnite community is falling in love with it and for good reasons. The legendary Klombo creatures have finally emerged from their hibernation and can be found wandering the Island in search of food – particularly Klombberries which have been reported to be their favourite snacks. Players will be able to feed these gentle giants if they desire by picking Klombberries from nearby bushes and throwing them directly on the ground. Klombo will quickly inhale them like a gargantuan vacuum cleaner and will spit out valuable loot ranging from uncommon items to legendary items which have a 5% chance of dropping. Klomberries are also very delicious and have been known to provide immense nutritional value for Klombo enthusiasts.
While Klombos are incredibly cute and predominantly docile, players are in fact able to attack the creatures which causes them to become enraged (obviously) and attack with superior strength and terrifying wrath; calm the beast with Klomberries. Epic Games was quick to send out a humorous tweet from the official Fortnite Twitter account which warned players against engaging in such cruel and heartless behaviour whilst (jokingly) threatening serious punishment:
The Fortnite loot pool was also updated on January 18th, 2022 with the v19.10 update and includes the Grenade Launcher weapon which has been unvaulted with some minor tweaks and adjustments to help improve gameplay and work within the NEW environment; projectiles now explode after the first bounce and fire more directly towards targets. Players looking to flaunt their Crown Victory Royale prowess with the Crowning Achievement Emote will notice that their tallies will now display the correct number of victories which have been earned – a total that was previously limited to 99 or below.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices.
