Viva Festivale! Experience The Carnival Spirit With Pavé In Upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons Update
Feathers and festivities are coming to an island near you as the latest FREE update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons arrives on January 28th, 2021 with Pavé taking centre stage! Long-time residents and recent arrivals can fire up their island with all kinds of carnival spirit, craft seasonal items, and celebrate with some new Reactions and items to purchase – Pavé must DANCE!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons periodically hosts a variety of themed events throughout the year for players to partake in that coincide with real-world holiday celebrations including Bunny Day (Easter), Nature Day (Arbor Day), and Toy Day (Christmas) which are officiated by special characters that only appear during their particular day; for instance, Jingle only appears during on December 24th for the Toy Day event.
Pavé’s Festivale Update Includes:
- Festivale Event – Pavé will arrive on February 15th, 2021 at the island plaza to usher in some confetti and carnivaal spirit for residents to enjoy. Players can capture colourful feathers which can be found floating around the island with a net and trade them with Pavé to receive a passionate dance number from Pavé himself – Pavé must DANCE!
- New Reactions – Express your excitement for Festivale with a range of new Reactions including Feelin’ It, Viva, and Confetti which will be available to purchase with in-game Bells at Nook’s Cranny for a limited time
- New Clothing – Festivale clothing will be available starting on February 1st, 2021 at the Able Sisters shop for a limited time; get your Festivale groove on in style with these fashionable looks
- Seasonal Items – Resident Services will have some seasonal items available at the Nook Stop kiosk as well as through Nook Shopping for a limited time including chocolate hearts and heart-shaped bouquets through February 14th, 2021
Nintendo is also releasing the Animal Crossing Sanrio Collaboration Pack on March 26th, 2021 which can be purchased at Target locations in the United States for $5.99 USD with Canada receiving the exclusive amiibo cards on the same day – locations, pricing, and availability coming soon. Another update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is planned for March and will likely include the Shamrock Day festivities as previously seen in Animal Crossing: New Leaf on Nintendo 3DS.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite.
