Colombian Artist Karol G Brings Rhythm To Fortnite Festival With Her Signature Style; Latin Powerhouse
Feel the Latin rhythm as Carolina Giraldo Navarro – known professionally as Karol G – dazzles the Fortnite Festival stage for its quinary performance. Epic Games welcomed the award-winning Columbian artist on August 15th, 2024 with players having the pleasure of experiencing her Reggaeton musical stylings and Latin Urban influences until November 2nd, 2024 at 12AM EST. Karol G holds the honour of being the first Fortnite Festival headliner to not hail from North America – Epic Games has previously spotlighted international artists during the Soundwave Series of concerts in 2022 which kicked off with Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki performing an exclusive three-day musical experience.
Players can earn Festival Points by completing Festival Quests in-game and get Karol G cosmetics including the Keyluxe Keytar and Bichota 6-String Guitar at the end of their respected tiers – accessing the Premium Reward Track requires an upgrade of 1,800 V-Bucks. Epic Games has incentivized that purchase by offering the Bichota Season Karol G Outfit as a bonus benefit. Cosmetics contained within this Festival Pass are not exclusive and could rotate through the Item Shop down the road.

A five-part playable concert was held from August 23rd, 2024 to August 26th, 2024 which featured a setlist from the five-time Latin Grammy winner. The experience was designed by Magnopus and players were eligible to unlock the Bichota 4-String Bass after attending the concert. Epic Games previously partnered with Magnopus for the Metallica inspired Fuel. Fire. Fury. concert last season. These events have seemingly become a mainstay for Fortnite Festival and thus compliment the mode perfectly.
