The series centers around a mild-mannered gift shop employee (Grant) who quickly discovers that he is sharing his body with another identity (Spector) who possesses the powers given to him by an Egyptian god.

Moon Knight is available to stream exclusively on Disney+ and debuted on March 30th, 2022 with six episodes currently releasing as part of the first season. Director Mohamed Diab has expressed interest in filming the series on location in Egypt itself, should it return for a second season as mentioned and reported by the Hollywood Reporter earlier this month. Ethan Hawke (The Northman) also appears as Arthur Harrow – a religious zealot and cult leader – associated with the Egyptian goddess Ammit.
