Wu-Tang Clan Collaboration Comes To Fortnite And Players Can Procure Physical Branded Merchandise
Epic Games has brought one of the most influential hip-hop groups – Wu-Tang Clan – to the world of Fortnite as part of their continuously growing collaboration library. The Staten Island performers began their Battle Royale adventure on April 23rd, 2022 with a variety of Wu Wear cosmetics in the Item Shop which brings a certain flair of stylistic energy to the beloved Island. Players can also bring their in-game threads to the real world with an entire capsule of Fortnite X Wu-Tang Gear which is currently available to purchase while supplies last; begins shipping out on May 20th, 2022 to select countries.
Players can purchase the Wu Wear Bundle for 1,600 V-Bucks which comes packaged with the B.R.I.T.E. Outfit, Throwback BG Outfit, Wu-Tang Represent Back Bling, WuWear Worldwide Back Bling, Wu-Tang Hands Emoticon, and Wu-Tang Style Loading Screen. Alternately, both aforementioned Outfits can be procured for 1,200 V-Bucks separately but players will receive a discount of 800 V-Bucks when they get the entire bundle; consider the Loading Screen an exclusive gift. Players can subsequently equipped No Cap Styles to their Outfits or switch up their Back Bling with a Classic Wu-Tang and Ruckus Red Styles respectively; the latter two cosmetics are reactive to music in-game and eligible Emotes too.
Rounding out the Wu-Tang Clan cosmetics is the Wu Wear Gear Bundle which can be acquired from the Item Shop for 1,600 V-Bucks and includes the Wu-Tang Is Forever Emote, Neck Protector Pickaxe, Triumphant Tagger Pickaxe, Shimmy Surfer Glider, Wu Wrap, Wu Boom Box Spray, and Wu-Tang Clan Banner. Players can purchase the Emote and Wrap on their own for 300 V-Bucks each while the Glider and Pickaxes are available for 800 V-Bucks. Ruckus Red Style can be equipped to the Shimmy Surfer Glider and Triumphant Tagger Pickaxe respectively whilst the Neck Protector Pickaxe sports a Classic Wu-Tang Style; Banner and Spray cannot be purchased individually – bundle exclusive.
