Nick Fury Infiltrates The Fortnite Island To Combat The Cube Queen And Put An End To Her Corruption
Epic Games has recruited the Master of Espionage – Nick Fury – to help combat the Cube Monsters and put an end to the corruption of The Cube Queen as Fortnite Chapter 2 prepares to wrap up with an epic Finale Event on December 4th, 2021 at 4PM EST. The Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. has made his way to the Island to root out the source of the supernatural threat with Tony Stark approved technology that will make quick work of those malevolent geometric shapes. Nick Fury arrived in the Fortnite Item Shop on November 25th, 2021 and will be available for a limited time; Agent Jones has also reported that he is definitely probably not a Life-Model Decoy… better keep an eye on him, Peely.
The Nick Fury Bundle can be purchased for 2,000 V-Bucks and includes the Nick Fury Outfit, F.I.E.LD. Pack Back Bling, Director’s Scythe Pickaxe, First-Strike Infiltration Glider, and the exclusive Quinjets in Flight Loading Screen. Players can also choose to purchase the Outfit (Back Bling included), Pickaxe, and Glider individually for 1,500 V-Bucks, 800 V-Bucks, and 800 V-Bucks respectively but will receive a discount of 1,100 V-Bucks when purchasing the bundle rather than separately.
Epic Games has been partnering with Marvel Comics throughout the entirety of Chapter 2 and even centred Season 4 of Fortnite around an original story which featured iconic superheroes and nefarious supervillains. Several characters were unlockable through the Battle Pass including Iron Man, Thor, Groot, She-Hulk, Mystique, Doctor Doom, and Wolverine with players teaming up alongside them to fight Galactus in a Live Event that attracted over 15 million simultaneous players. Other Marvel characters have also shown up in the Fortnite Item Shop including Dark Phoenix, Eddie Brock, and Shangi-Chi with Carnage appearing in Season 8 as the Level 100 Battle Pass reward.
