No Sweat Insurance Celebrates Summer In Fortnite With Cool Rewards And A Tilted Towers Block Party
Summer has arrived on the Fortnite island and players are enjoying two weeks of sun, surf, and sand courtesy of No Sweat Insurance – a fictitious company in charge of rebuilding Tilted Towers whenever the popular location succumbs to destructive forces or events. As the Epic Games developers are taking some well deserved time away for themselves, there is plenty of things to keep players occupied until their return including special Quests, thirst-quenching rewards, and more! The event officially kicked off on July 21st, 2022 and is scheduled to wrap up August 9th, 2022 at 9AM EST as the developers prepare to head back to the office with Season 3 collectively winding down – ending in September.
Players can procure short-term employment with No Sweat Insurance which finds them participating in a trilogy of challenges that involves joining the street team to advertise and promote all of the various products and services of the company. There are a total of fourteen Quests to complete with milestone rewards consisting of the Nana Frost Style for the Ice-Blasted Snow Crunchem Back Bling, Sweaty Sailer Glider, and Sweaty Rotation Emote; players will also unlock addition XP and even more flavours of the Ice-Blasted Snow Crunchem Back Bling: Meowscles’ Tail, Fish Flurry, and Goopy Guff Style.
And Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive a special bonus Style for the Ice-Blasted Snow Crunchem by logging in during the No Sweat Summer event – Cuddle Cerise. Epic Games has made several changes to their Summer themed event following backlash during the Cosmic Summer which focused primarily on Creative mode gameplay. Players expressed their anger and concerns with having to compete with lobbies of ‘sweaty’ opponents (aggressive players) to unlock all of the rewards. The Item Shop contains an variety of beach ready cosmetics including the Boardwalk Warriors Pack for 2,400 V-Bucks and the Tidal Vibes Pack for 1,200 V-Bucks – both pair perfectly with the No Sweat Lobby Track reward.
Rounding out the No Sweat Summer Festivities is the Rebuild the Block Quests which requires players to donate their hard earned gold bars and help decide which construction projects to fund; all designed and generated by creators from the Fortnite community. The voting will cease on August 9th, 2022 at 9AM EST and players can earn the Sea-Wheeeed Contrail, Lucky Lance Pickaxe, and Oro-Boris Back Bling simply by making their voices heard, surviving the storm, and eliminating opponents.
