Rift Knight Kieran Joined Heroic Quest With Reward Provided To Eligible March Fortnite Crew Members
The medieval saga of the Fortnite Crew concluded in March with Rift Knight Kieran – companion of Sylvie whom served as the February headliner; Epic Games subsequently teased his appearance in the background of her Loading Screen. Players that maintained their subscriptions for both months earned an additional cosmetic – Masterworks Pickaxe – as a token of gratitude from the developers for their dedication and continued support to the service; membership has its privileges. It is not uncommon for Epic Games to provide extra incentives given that the program is offered through monthly payments to an otherwise free-to-play game. Cosmetics will never become available to the general public.
Players received the Rift Knight Kieran Outfit, Inheritor’s Edge Back Bling and Pickaxe, Knight’s Legacy Wrap, and Double-Edged Sword Lobby Track. Another stage of the Photonic Legacy Set also became available which is a progressive reward that can be customized in various ways. Players looking to wield the Pickaxe for themselves must subscribe to Fortnite Crew before May 31st, 2023 at 8PM EST in order to start unlocking each Style option. Concurrent months of membership are not required as players are able to continue their progress exactly where they left off should they choose to return.
As with previous Fortnite Crew Packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the current Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership to the service costs $15.99 CAD per month and players can cancel their subscription at any time with Fortnite Crew benefits remaining effective until the next billing period. Any cosmetics and associated V-Bucks deposits which were obtained during the active subscription period will be kept permanently on eligible accounts regardless of cancellation; V-Bucks will be received on the initial subscription day.
Fortnite is available now on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Windows PC, and Android devices – iOS compatibility is available through GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
