The Mad Titan Is Returning To Fortnite And Players Could Unlock Him Early With The Thanos Cup

After making his debut in the Avengers: Endgame Limited Time Mode (LTM) three years ago, the Mad Titan will be coming to the Fortnite Item Shop for the very first time on June 26th, 2021 at 8PM EST. Players will be able to add the Thanos Outfit to their Lockers along with the Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling which is inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame and comes equipped with all six of the iconic Infinity Stones – Space, Mind, Soul, Time, Power, and Reality.

Prior to his arrival in the Item Shop, players will have the opportunity to unlock Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling a few days early on June 21st, 2021 by competing in the Thanos Cup which is a Duos Competition taking place between 6PM and 9PM EST. Each pair will play up to ten matches within the three hour window and earn as many points as possible with the top performing teams in each region unlocking the Thanos Outfit and Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling.

Participating teams that manage to earn at least eight points during the competition will walk away with the Thanos Watches! Spray as a consolation prize which might take several days before being awarded to players. Epic Games has stated that this cosmetic item will NOT appear at a later time in the Item Shop as it is exclusive to participants in the Thanos Cup.

In order to participate in the Thanos Cup, players need to have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on their Epic account and have reached at least Level 30 or above. Players can visit the official Thanos Cup website for a complete list of rules and regulations.
