Inferno Island Blazes Into Rocket Racing Scene With Volcanic Themed Tracks And Casual Racing Playlist
Feel the heat with Inferno Island – the latest thematic update for Rocket Racing with volcanic tracks where players can scorch the competition. Inferno Island erupted on July 23rd, 2024 and is expected to remain active for several weeks; Neon Rush launched in April 2024 where Epic Games revealed that major updates would ditch the “seasonal” moniker in order to leave room for features that go beyond a confining theme. If the heat is too hot to handle, Casual Racing allows players to enjoy the blazing atmosphere of Inferno Island without the high-stakes of competing in a ranked capacity.
There are five NEW tracks on Inferno Island: Obsidian, Seafoam Cove, Skull Rock Isle, Twin Flame Island, and Azure Grotto which are unlocked through natural progression of Ranked Racing – reaching Gold I tier grants access to everything. Epic Games also partnered with 404 Creative to design two additional tracks with one being available after hitting Diamond I tier. Casual Racing takes ranked status out of the question, allowing players to test their driving skills without worrying about affecting their current position – select Rocket Racing challenges can also be completed in this mode.
Lockjaw Starter Quest Pack
Epic Games has released the second Starter Quest Pack for Rocket Racing – featuring Cinder and the Lockjaw Car Body which players will recognize from the Fortnite Wrecked storyline; variations driven by The Machinist and Ringmaster Scarr respectively. It retails for $13.19 CAD and includes:
