The God Of Mischief Tricks His Way Into The Latest Fortnite Crew Pack Offerings With Glorious Purpose
The alien invasion has begun and Loki Laufeyson – The God of Mischief – has made the journey from Asgard to the Island with glorious purpose as the headliner for the July Fortnite Crew Pack which first became available on June 30th, 2021 at 8PM EST. The character design is inspired by his appearance in Marvel Studios’ The Avengers and includes the Loki Laufeyson Outfit, Loki’s Cape Back Bling, Loki’s Scepter Pickaxe, Chitauri Chariot Glider, and Loki’s Welcoming Loading Screen.
Epic Games had secretly teased the arrival of Loki back in May 2021 with the May Crew Pack that featured four additional rewards in the form of Loading Screens which coincidentally revealed the headliner for the June Crew Pack – Mecha Cuddle Master. Eagle eyed fans were quick to notice a familiar silhouette on the left hand side of the fourth and final Loading Screen with Epic Games later confirming the news via Twitter on June 25th, 2021 at 10AM EST.
As with previous Fortnite Crew packs, the current Battle Pass will be gifted to active subscribers at no additional cost; those that previously purchased the Battle Pass prior to subscribing will be given a one-time return of 950 V-Bucks which will be applied to qualifying accounts. Membership will cost $15.99 CAD and players can cancel their subscription at any time. Fortnite Crew subscriptions will remain effective until the next billing period; all cosmetics and V-Bucks obtained during the active period will not be returned; keep them forever!
